In the early 60's, my grandfather (Pete Fountain) had this small building constructed for use as a flight school office at the Moscow/Pullman Airport.  His oldest son (my uncle) Ron Fountain took over the operation for several years, where many local aviators/characters passed through its doors.  In the early 2000's, "the blue house," as it came to be called, was moved to the Fountains' airstrip just south of Moscow, where it is slowly being renovated and currently serves as my summer studio.
